A little help with latest styles and hair?

I am always the person at school with the latest hair style. I used to have long dark brown hair up to about my butt. I cut it to the middle of my spine, dyed it an awesome jet black, put layers,and added side way banks. I think it is the most updated hair style. (My hair looks EXACTLY like Demi lovato's hair in her don't forget music video. I love my hair but was it worth cutting? How can I REALLY know if it looks good? Should I have kept my old hair?????/

1. LEAVE IT!! if you love it, keep it totally. thats awesome really it sounds kewl..be unique and have the first hairstyle like that. if people start to copy you, do something alittlee different but not the point of drastic changes.. sry for spelling mishaps.
2. be natural. keep as you like/feel.feel as a baby when you choose your hairstyle that will look perfect. old one is good.just be yourself.(no dye/colors pls!)
