What were some of the fashion trends this year?

07 up until now. I ussually dont follow fashions trends...but I am doing a project in school and it has a fashion section where I need to list some trends and dos and donts. Im having some trouble thinking of all of the trends....

1. skinny jeans, high waisted jeans, brightly colored jeans, and stufff like that hmm heels with skinny jeans, vests, long wavy hair, gold jewlery the colors yellow and purple and golddd oh and also bob cuts like katie holmes for example and rihannas
2. Metallics were big, skinny jeans, leggings, wedges, plaid shorts and bermudas
3. Feminine, flirty. Mini dresses, maxi dresses. Silver, color blocks. I have been seeing more pleating, and draping then I used to also. Belts seemed to be big recently as well.
