Stores in New York City?

Okayy soo... my family and i are going to NYC this summer. Im allowed to bring one friend. During the nights were going to see plays and go out to eat, but during the day my friend and i are allowed to do whatever we want. Im probably going to have about $2000 to spend. So i was wondering what are some stores teens would enjoy? I know were going to the Abercrombie & Fitch store and then the hershey store in times square. But what are some other stores teenagers would enjoy?

1. I'd walk downtown on Broadway - below 14th Street - there are a lot of neat stores there of all types. Also in Soho, which is the area below Greenwich Village, and then there's Delancey Street that has a lot of neat stuff. H&M is a fun store - there is one in Soho and one in Herald Square. Definitely go to the Empire State Building and to Grand Central, both of which are amazing. Take a Circle Line Tour and go to the Statue of Liberty.
