  1. Omgosh I have the same style! Big sunglasses are way still in! Just super bright shades, like yellow or red Skinny jeans with flats and a graphic tee shirt, or a elaborate vintage top Bright graphic jewlery Lots of the 80s stuff is coming back in, but I don't like the flowing wide no shape shirts... ew lol ribbons in hair, that's pretty much the same as 2007 as with makeup and stuff Oh but makeup is going toward a fresh, cleaner look more natural and sheer... beachy :> Good luck!
  2. the trends will be like fluorescents and like big poofey stuff..like sleeves and pants and things..
  3. Yes, those sunglasses are still in. These are spring's trends: Oxford style tops with blazers colorful miniskirts nautical themes bright florals earth-friendly clothes pastels and pales girly, flower colors safari themes tribal prints bohemian themes big earrings bi necklaces fedora (type of hat) Gladiator shoes flipflops flats bold colors geometric patterns above the knee-length dresses Ruffles and bows big buckles colorful belts spring scarves (lightweight scarves died bright colors) structured jackets wedges bangles layering girly polos faux-skin clutches kitten heels lightweight sweaters high-waisted skirts cargo shorts lacy dresses lightweight trenchcoats tight-fitting jeans midriff-revealing tops "men's" tank Military jackets and tops windbreakers oversize purses maxi-dresses T-shirt dresses faded denim surf-inspired looks
  4. probably skinny jeans, ripped jeans and stuff.
  5. Darling, oversized sunglasses are always in. That's one rule to remember. Some more before I begin: Never wear more than two trends at once. I know you are probably sick of hearing this but, unless you're Rihanna, you will look absurdly ridiculous, seriously. What if all trends died? Would you still be able to make an outfit? The true test of a fashionista is how well you are able to pull together an amazing outfit that speaks volumes about you under any circumstances. Never wear something unless it looks good on you. Also sick of hearing? Good, it means its slowly being embedded. So...lets say you fall in love with some outfit or trend that happens to be too overly trendy with out you meaning it to be? Who cares...go for it. Just remember, add a twist to it. Give it something not so in style (like the shoes or accessories or top or skirt or whatever) to show its your own. Okay, on to the trends! 1. Bright colors. We saw it this fall, but now that its spring you might find it easier to embrace. Saturated hues like hot pink (which you might really like), oranges, greens, and yellows are everywhere. And they look beautiful, 2. Tribal. I love this trend. Think African art, simply beautiful. While a tribal print dress is gorgeous (btw maxi dresses are in too), I really love tribal jewlery. Kind of boho, kind of one with nature, very creative. Also, Safari will be big too. Try to incorporate "modern safari." 3. Eco-friendly, and I'm not only saying this because I happen t be into eco-conscienceness. Lots of brands and designers have eco friendly options, proving you can look great and be great at the same time. 4. Geometric jewlery. I also love this. Think hard shapes like squares or circles in interesting formations (idk if I'm explaining this right). Modern meets nature. 5. Crazy, wild shoes. Balenciaga and Prada come to mind first, and they really went wild with their shoes. Either very modern or looking like a garden on your feet, these shoes are STANDOUTS. I saw that Betsey Johnson makes a really affordable pair (&100, think) at BP Nordstrom. 6. Ombre. Not my favorite, but a trend. Two different color tones mixing into one. 7. Artsy. I love this trend, but sometimes I think it gets ugly. Muted (the kind I don't like) you can buy blues & grays, wild (love) is different crazy colored brushstrokes on your garment. 8. 70's. The 60's was big last Spring, now the 70's is taking over. Think wide-leg jeans, flowy clothes, and hippie prints. Racheal Zoe mentioned she was big on the 70's, and her influence is readily apparent on Hollywood starlets, so watch her clients. 9. Coral lips. Very big, I heard its like the red lip trend of the fall. Easy to incorporate into spring wardrobes. 10. Makeup as masterpieces. Also, the focus on the eye. Makeup this season was wild, Vogue's spring models showcased shocking lipstick colors. Look at Sephora's issue entitled "Beauty as Art" or whatever, I forgot. 11. Wedge Gladiator shoes. While the gladiator look has stayed strong trough many seasons, now be daring with some height. Well, thats all I can think of (yes, I just typed all of that without the use of any reference, aren't I good?) Want a uber-trendy magazine? try people stylewatch, esp. the one with Kate Hudson entitled Spring Style. Hope this helps!!! =)
