Can someone explain comparable clothing sizes between junior and misses sizes? This is what I mean...? Say you have 7/9 junior, then is the next size 8/10 misses, then 11/13 junior, then 12/14 misses, etc.? I have a hard to fit pre-teen who is out of the girls size 16. Clothing sizes make no sense to me at all. I, myself, wear "women's" clothing and have been for years, so this is new to me! How do you get a first job? Do you just go to the place of intersest and ask for a job or do you specifically have to go to stores/places that have a "Now Hiring" sign? What did I do wrong during a job interview and how do I correct it? It wasn't for a real salaried job or anything, just at a clothing store. I didn't get the job, which I found to be absolutely ludicrous. I answered the questions truthfully and straightforwardly. I was polite to the girl who interviewed me and was quite well dressed (better dressed than her...). Granted, I had no work experience other than as a student aide in my old college, but the fact that this was a job as a junior sales associate should have negated that. Perhaps they saw me as overqualified? Could the fact that I go to an Ivy League school have caused me a problem? Could it be that they thought I wouldn't devote enough time to them? What are some tips on getting a job like this? I have to do something this summer and really have no desire to work in an office or to do an unpaid internship. So how do I bs my way into a job? why do some mothers try the dress their daugthers older than they are? i work in a clothing store that is aimed towards people about the age of 13 and older but yet we have a lot of mothers come on with their young daugthers ages about 7 8 and 9 (much to young to fit into adult sizes) get upset with us because the clothing doesnt fit their child or because we do not provide childrens sizes one mother the other day yelled at me because the t shirts didnt come small enough for her 8 year old and bcause she did not fit the smallest size jeans (size 00) i believe that at 9 10 years old a little girl should be wearing kittens on her clothes not shirts that say hottie league or trying to where string bikinis and i guess its up to the mother how she wants to dress her child but why not just dress her like a little girl there will be enough time for belly shirts and short shorts later and of its that big a deal why not bring them to a store like the limited too that provides trendy clothes in childrens sizes why insist on the juniors brand thats my rant for 2day

Where to buy age-appropriate Juniors clothes for my 12 year old daugher? My daughter needs a new summer wardrobe, however, every store I go to, whether it be Old Navy, Target, etc., the Juniors dept. only seem to have clothes designed for prostitutes. The shorts are only available in Lowest Low - what the heck is that anyway - why not just call it "Low Enough to See Your You-Know-What" and are equally as short. I do believe that I am not just overprotective or old fashions - no one's shorts, no matter how old, should be four inches from top to bottom! It's just not right! So if anyone has any suggestions of where to shop for a little girl - not a hooker - I would appreciate it!

Girls help - size 16 - tell me a good designer/store? Size 16 seems like it must be the hardest size to be. I can't shop in the juniors department, the plus size stores have styles that are too old and sizes that are too big. I'm 25 years old and a new mother.
