21st birthday gift, american apparel, betsey johnson, chanel...designer costume jewelry...etc.? I wanna’ get a super cool gift for my lil’ sisters’ 21st birthday. Something trendy and designer. I already got her some dresses from American Apparel, but I want some other ideas for a gift, 100-200 dollar limit. Maybe a Betsey Johnson bracelet or some Juicy sun glasses…Anyone have any ideas? Think designer accessories or jewelry. Any suggestions on what's out (currently) in the stores would be awesome. Thanks. P.S. I live in Chicago, so I have access to most big stores, however, I'm busy and don't have time to search through all of them for a gift. thanks :)
I am an Atl couture costume jewelry designer. What is the best way to get discovered and display my jewelry? I specialize in making really affordable unique necklace, earrings and bracelets sets and individual pieces. Vibrant colors and earthtones shades are what my swanky designs are all about. I specialize in accessories with colors that are hard to find. I have been told on many occassions that my pieces are simply unique! Women love my collections. Husbands of wifes who buy my pieces, love my work. I need help with exposure. I would love to introduce my collection to anchor women of the world (especially in ATL). My dream is to see my pieces worn on women news casters, in hair magazines, in small and large boutiques, and in at least one major department store. I have tried attending fall festivals, vendor craft shows, setting up a booth at Atlantic Station, contacting local women's boutiques and I once had a website. No one bought on my website and most ladies boutiques are not really looking to buy handmade jewelry. I've been told that it doesn't sell well for them.
I like to do custom costume jewelry. Is there a market for that? On-line? To match custom designer pieces? I am versitle with materials and live near wholesalers and know where to get items. I also have a huge inventory of supplies at home and tools. I do not do silver work or casting, but do findings and wirewrap and handknottting. I learn new techniques frequently and keep up with trends. My trun around time can be 24 hours or less. How should I market this? I will do whatever is demanded by fashion. I am versitle. I will use from plastic to coral and gemstones. Not material is off limits. I use all mentals. I use stainless, sterling, vermielli, brass and copper. If someone can tell me how to list properly on ebay that would be fine. This is not junk, so people are not going to get it for $1.00. This is art stuff. Family and friends are already wearing my designs custom made for their specific style. They get complements constantly. Perhaps they should carry cards with a web site.

What would be the best keywords for me to use for my product in yahoo search marketing? I sell silver jewelry, with tons of large cubic zirconia stones set into it, the jewelry is bold, and big, and glamorous. I make it in my spare time ,and i am a professionally trained jeweler, and designer. Its too expensive to produce to qualify as costume jewelry , but it is not fine jewelry
Need a name for my new internet store.......10 points guaranteed!? I am opening a store, I want to say gift shop but it isnt really, it will be on the internet. I will be selling: Handbags, body jewelry, candles, zippos, puppy clothes, fine jewelry, high end costume jewelry, sword sets and other mens nick nacks. Asian decor. Designer diaper bags. Just really everything. I cannot decide on a name. Dont want it to be too girly I want men to shop there too. Best answer gets 10 points and 50% off if they would like to buy something.
Are subcultures Immature? Just something I've been thinking about...I've always been a "metalhead" since I was a teen. I've dressed in tight clothing, band shirts, long hair, studded wristbands, bullet belts, massive wallet chains, etc. Now I'm 20 year old university student. And I'm worried people might think less of me because of the way I dress. So I need your guy's opinions on a few things. -What do you think of guys who wear subcultured costume jewelry (I think that's what it's called). Such as chain chokers, studded wristbands, wallet chains and such. Would it make a difference if these accessories were designer items and more expensive? -What do you think of guys with long/unusual hair? OVERALL How can I look like clean cut, sophisticated person while still maintaining the look of a metalhead?
Vintage jewellery in Toronto/the GTA ? I'm looking for recommendations for stores in the Toronto area (general or downtown, or otherwise in Mississauga, Lakeshore or Etobicoke) that carry or specialize in vintage, vintage replica or costume jewelry. ***Nothing GENERIC***, ie, nothing you would find in a Peoples or a Costo jewelery case. Could be jewlery stores, or even cases in a clothing boutique, whatever... any ideas? Additional info: I'm planning on buying a ring or some other piece of jewelery for my sister as a university graduation gift. She is a designer so I really want to avoid anything generic and want to move towards something dramatic, art deco or even something sweet (like a gentle pearl string bracelet.. as long as it is not forgettable). I don't want to go to an "expensive" store but I'm willing to spend up to a few hundred for a unique quality piece because it's something I want her to have forever.

What does a dream mean when you are very beautiful, but being ignored? I had a dream in December. I got invited to an eclusive costume ball at some exclusive place. I got contacted by a famous hollywood costume designer to make my dress. It was blue with a long train, and a velvet cape. I had a beautiful crown with expensive fine jewelry. I arrived in a limo and when I got there everyone was dressed less formally than I was. I stood in the middle of the ballroom floor, but no one looked, spoke, nor paid any attention to me. I was very beautiful but I was treated like I didn't exsist. I ran out crying towards the end and still not one paid any attention to me. What does this all mean??? Why was I being ignored in this dream?
